Ships and Ferries to Antiparos - Cycladic Islands.

Antiparos and the Cyclades in general are connected
to the ports of Piraeus and Rafina. From Antiparos
you can also visit the nearby Cycladic islands of Ios,
Santorini, Kimolos, Naxos, Anafi, Amorgos etc.

In addition, there are ferry connection from Antiparos
ferry to the islands of Crete, Rhodes, and basically
all Dodecanese and East Aegean Islands via a third
island.

Your trip to Antiparos can be with a conventional
ferry boat, by Highspeed or Flying dolphin depending
on the day, the time and the ferry company you wish
to travel with.

If you select to visit Antiparos with the conventional
ferry your trip will take about 5-7 hours while with a
Highspeed ferry 3.5-4.5 hours depending on how
many ports the ferry will call at on the way.

Ferries from Piraeus to Antiparos run all year round
on a daily basis. In summer of course there are
more departures to choose from.

Ferry Port Connections for
Antiparos - Cycladic Islands

ANTIPAROS > OVERVIEW

In Prehistoric times, Antiparos was joined to the island of Paros but today the only connection is by ferry from Pounta. It is a picturesque Cycladic island with a charming port, clean sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and small isolated churches overlooked by the ruins of the Venetian castle.

What makes this island unique is the great cave on St.John’s hill. A spectacular stalagmite welcomes the visitors at the entrance while the dimensions of the cave itself are equally impressive. It reaches up to 90m deep into the earth!

The beaches of the island are very pretty. At Soro, apart from the beautiful sandy beach, the visitor can find plenty of rooms for rent as well as tavernas, while on the north side of the island there is an organized camping site. For those travelling by yacht or sailing boat, a visit to the remote beaches of the nearby island of Despotiko is definitely worth it.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

From today, August 13, 2020 a new decree by the Italian Minister of Health has come into force providing the following alternative measures which apply to people entering Italy after staying in, or transiting from Croatia, Malta, Greece or Spain in the last 14 days:

a. Obligation to present a certificate showing a negative result of a swab, done within the 72 hours prior to entry in Italy.

or

b. Obligation to undergo a molecular or antigen test carried out through a swab upon arrival at the Italian airport, port or border place, where possible; or carried out, within 48 hours from entering the Italian territory, at the competent Italian National Public Health clinic. In this latter case, while waiting for the examination test, people are due to wait in fiduciary isolation at their place of residence or dwelling.

All people, regardless of symptoms, entering Italy from the above mentioned countries are due to immediately inform the Prevention Department of the competent Italian National Health office about their arrival. In the event of outbreaks of symptoms of Covid 19, the obligation of immediate information to Italian Health Authority (through the relevant phone number) as well as of self-isolation remain into force.
