Sporades Islands, Greece

The Sporades Islands comprise of 24 Greek islands located along the east coast of Greece and north east of the island of Evia in the Aegean Sea. Daily ferry connections link Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos to the mainland ports of Volos and Agios Konstantinos, as well as the port of Mantoudi in Evia. The island of Skyros is primarily accessible from the port of Kimi in the north part of Evia.

If you are island hopping in Greece, travelling by ferry between the Sporades islands of Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos is a piece of cake. Skyros island is the exception as there are ferry connections only to the port of Kimi in Evia. During the summer months, when ferry schedules are more frequent and ferry services are provided by even more ferry companies, making a ferry booking to, from and between the islands of Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos is very easy.
