The Port of Bar is the largest port in Montenegro and it serves as a gateway for maritime transportation in the region. Whether you're traveling by train, bus, car, or arriving at the nearby airport, you'll be able to access the port easily. Should you arrive by car, you can take the Adriatic Highway (E65) which runs along Montenegro's coastline. There are train services from the north of Montenegro and Serbia if you want to travel to Bar by train. Once you arrive in Bar, the port area is easy to find as it's centrally located in the town. The town is relatively compact and pedestrian-friendly, so you should be able to walk to the port area from various parts of the town center.
In Montenegro, there are two types of paid parking: parking spaces along the streets (signage on the side of the road with a parking meter on the pavement) and car parks with barriers (designated areas with barriers at the entry and exit). In Bar, almost all parking spaces are free of charge. Near the port of Bar there are several parking areas (mostly outdoors and not guarded), which may be paid car parkings.
