FERRY TICKET COLLECTION

The majority of ferry companies we cooperate with still offer the option of a "good old" thermal ticket. If you are in the neighborhood or are planning to visit Crete any time before your trip, just give us a visit at 33, Kounavon Str, Heraklion, Crete and pick up your tickets from here. It makes our day when we get to meet our customers in person and have a chat over a cup of coffee!

Thermal tickets available for:

This option is offered by all ferry companies. All you need is your reservation code and ID/passport. In the confirmation of your booking, we send you your reservation code along with the location and contact details of all available ticket collection points (port office/s). If you are travelling within Greece, you can also collect your tickets any day before and up to 1h before your trip, but for international routes, tickets are printed out only on the day of departure during the check-in process. If you are travelling with a vehicle please aim to be at the port at least 3 hours before departure, if you have booked the Camping on Board service then aim for 4 hours prior to departure.

Note: Most ferry companies collaborate with local travel agents on the Greek islands to support passengers on the day of departure throughout their ports’ network. In some rare cases the local port agent will charge a small fee (0.50-1€) per ticket for this service. If the ferry company you are travelling with offers Web check-in or E-tickets, we highly recommend opting for that in order to avoid potential printing fees and also save yourself some time.

PTA tickets available for:

Web Check-in is offered by most major ferry companies operating on routes within Greece (domestic). In the confirmation of your booking, we provide a link where you can check-in online between 48h and 2h before departure. When completing the Web check-in process, an electronic ticket with a QR code is sent to you and you can either print it out or save it on a phone/tablet. On the day of departure, head straight for the ferry and simply show your e-ticket and ID/passport to board.

Web Check-in tickets available for:

The E-ticket is offered by certain major ferry companies operating on routes within Greece (domestic). The E-ticket is sent to you as soon as you complete your booking and you can either print it out or save it on a phone/tablet. On the day of departure, head straight for the ferry and simply show your e-ticket and ID/passport to board.

E-tickets available for:

If you have chosen to travel with one or more ferry companies that offer thermal tickets, you will also be given the option to receive the tickets by registered mail or courier. Although we highly recommend, collecting your tickets at the port of opting for Web Check in / E-tickets, these options are offered for those of you who feel more at ease when having the tickets in your hands. The delivery fee varies depending on the delivery method you select and if we are shipping the tickets within Greece, within the EU or outside the EU. Obviously the courier method is more reliable and shipments can be traced throughout the delivery stages. There is a downside to having the tickets sent to you though. In case you need to change or cancel your booking, depending on the ferry company you may have to send the tickets back to us. This is as frustrating for you as it is for us, but unfortunately cancelled / invalid thermal tickets must be returned to the ferry companies, so please keep that in mind when choosing how you want to collect your tickets.
