BEACHESMytilene
The beach at the town of Mytilene is a beautiful sandy beach with clear blue waters. It is the only beach on the island where you have to pay an entrance fee. In the area there are coffee bars and showers available.
Molyvos
The town beach at Molyvos is not bad as town beaches go. The sea is usually calm and clear. The view of the castle is great from the beach. There are free showers and changing rooms available in the area.
Vatera
The endless beach at Vatera is over seven kilometres long and is one of the most impressive of the Greek islands. There are some hotels, cafeterias and taverns as well.
Skala Eressos
The beach itself received the blue flag award from the European Council of the Environment as the cleanest and best cared beach in Greece. There are few if any beaches in Greece that have what Skala Eressos has to offer. The waters are clear and the sand seems to go on for miles.
