Afales

Crossing a dreamy locality with tropical vegetation, one can reach the marvellous sea of Afalos. Afales bay is a very beautiful place with great beach and rocky coasts hiding two isolated beaches, for those that seek the absolute privacy.

In Afales bay there are some beaches that can be reached only by boat. These beaches with marvellous pebbles and sand are everything anyone could ever want.

Dexa

It is a small beach with deep-blue waters. It is a beach that has been awarded a Blue Flag. There are sufficient hygiene facilities, well-trained lifeguards on duty, canteen and telephone access in case of need, safety equipment and care for those with special needs.

Platis Ammos

Platis Ammos is a large, beautiful beach. It combines sand and marvellous pebbles, spotless waters.

It is considered one of the best beaches in Ithaca and all over Greece. Access is only by sea.

In summertime, particularly in August, there are numerous boats of all types; rowing boats, sailing boats and very expensive yachts arriving from the Frikes, Kioni, Vathi, Fiskardo and many other places.
