Agios Aimlianos

At the beach of Agios Aimilianos the land narrows, creating an islet on which the Chapel of Agios Aimilianos is located, a snow white structure between land and sea. It is found on the northern side of the island.

Agios Georgios Disalona

One of the loveliest, most unspoilt beaches on the entire island is that of Agios Georgios Disalonas. Its name derives from the Chapel of Agios Georgios (Saint George) which is perched on a steep rock which is 300 meters high. This rock is an attraction for climbing enthusiasts. It is found on the island’s eastern side, between Pedi and Marathounta, accessible only by sea.

Nimporios

Continuing the road from Yialos to the west, you reach the seaside settlement of Nimporios, where you can enjoy the beautiful, pebbled beach, which is also protected from the wind.

N.O.S

The beach nearest the island’s capital is that of N.O.S. (the initials stand for the Nautical Club of Symi), a small beach within walking distance. It has small, white pebbles and crystal, azure waters. There are deckchairs, umbrellas and cabanas. Right next to it, a small tavern offers ouzo and appetizers. It is found near Yialos after the dockyard.
