Lipsi

Lipsi is a tiny complex of Greek islands located between Patmos and Leros in the Dodecanese. Only one of the islands is inhabited, having about 700 permanent residents. The island has remained undiscovered by mass tourism due to its remoteness and small size, retaining its unspoiled natural beauty, pristine beaches, and the traditional character of its main town.

Chora is the only town on the island, and it is here that most of the tourist amenities, including hotels, stores and restaurants, are found. With whitewashed walls , blue doors and shutters, the little houses have maintained their ancient character, serving as a charming reminder of Aegean architecture.

The main spot of the island is the harbor from where you may walk to the numerous beaches, which are scattered throughout the 16 km island while enjoying, at the same time, the wild scenery. Ferries from Piraeus and other Dodecanese islands arrive daily to the port.
