Aigiali

Aigiali beach is the largest beach on the island. It is a sandy beach with crystal clear seawater. It is ideal for families with small children because of the cool waters and the taverns that are near the beach.

Agios Pavlos

Agios Pavlos is a pebble-beach with impressive views. It is located in the gulf of Aigiali just outside the settlement of Ormos. It is accessible via bus from Aigiali or by small boats that leave from the beaches of Nikouria.

Agia Anna

Agia Anna is a sandy beach with pebbles and rocks, with pure, clear waters. There is a frequent bus service from Chora. If you walk along the beach you can visit Kampi. The beach is located near the church of Agia Anna which is about 3km from Chora.

Levrosos

You can reach the beach of Levrosos on foot by following the path which begins at the end of the beach of Aigali. Small boats are also available for this short trip. It is a sandy baech with particularly clear water and is one of the best beaches on Amorgos. It is located in the gulf of Aigiali just outside Ormos.

Mourou

Mourou is one of the most impressive beaches on the island of Amorgos. It is located south east of Amorgos and 14km from Chora. It is a pebble beach with a small amount of sand and pure, deep blue waters.

Maltezi

Maltezi is a beautiful beach with golden sand and pebbles . It is located near the beach of Agios Panteleimonas. It is accessible along the path that starts from Xylokeratidi or via boat from Katapola. There is a beach bar with a variety of drinks, snacks and music.
