Milos and the Cyclades in general are connected
to the ports of Piraeus and Rafina. From Milos
you can also visit the nearby Cycladic islands of
Ios, Santorini, Kimolos, Naxos, Anafi, Amorgos etc.

In addition, there are ferry connection from Milos
ferry to the islands of Crete, Rhodes, and basically all Dodecanese and East Aegean Islands via a third island.

Your trip to Milos can be with a conventional ferry boat, by Highspeed or Flying dolphin depending on
the day, the time and the ferry company you wish
to travel with.

If you select to visit Milos with the conventional
ferry your trip will take about 5-7 hours while with
a Highspeed ferry 3.5-4.5 hours depending on how
many ports the ferry will call at on the way.

MILOS > AREAS

Plaka

Plaka is the capital of the island. You will find in this traditional village most of the civil service offices and the folk and archaeological museums - custodians of the cultural heritage from the distant to the more recent past.

The churches which, by their very existence, remind us of the history of this volcanic hill from the time of its first settlement until today are also to be found here.

Adamas

Adamas is a seaside village with approximately one thousand inhabitants and is a tourist centre and port. Adamas offers you the utmost in comfort and pleasure for your holiday.

Peace and quiet is combined with entertainment and an enticing night life. Banks, a post-office, port police, customs office, doctors, dentists, a chemist shop, Greek and international tourist agencies, are just a few of the facilities available to the visitor.

Triovassalos - Plakes

Driving uphill from the port, we first come to the two villages which have merged into one due to considerable commercial development. There are two particularly interesting churches ... Agios Spiridonas in Triovassalos and Agios Georgios in Pera Triovassalos.

Tripiti

Picturesque windmills crown the hillside above the village and although once used to grind wheat, they are now being adapted to provide unusual summer accommodation. Stopping for a moment, we can see the imposing church of Agios Nicholas, built in 1880.

Klima

Klima is the brightly coloured fishing village which attract the visitors so much as they enter the Gulf of Milos. As you sit on the water-front watching the sun dipping below the western horizon, it casts its shimmering crimson rays along the beaches.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

From today, August 13, 2020 a new decree by the Italian Minister of Health has come into force providing the following alternative measures which apply to people entering Italy after staying in, or transiting from Croatia, Malta, Greece or Spain in the last 14 days:

a. Obligation to present a certificate showing a negative result of a swab, done within the 72 hours prior to entry in Italy.

or

b. Obligation to undergo a molecular or antigen test carried out through a swab upon arrival at the Italian airport, port or border place, where possible; or carried out, within 48 hours from entering the Italian territory, at the competent Italian National Public Health clinic. In this latter case, while waiting for the examination test, people are due to wait in fiduciary isolation at their place of residence or dwelling.

All people, regardless of symptoms, entering Italy from the above mentioned countries are due to immediately inform the Prevention Department of the competent Italian National Health office about their arrival. In the event of outbreaks of symptoms of Covid 19, the obligation of immediate information to Italian Health Authority (through the relevant phone number) as well as of self-isolation remain into force.
